Terrific day, started with Pit Lane walk, Melbourne Walk rubbing shoulders with Perez, Verstappen, Ocon, Vettel and Ricciardo, as well as Christian Horner and Adrian Newy. In the Paddock Club saw Shane Delia, Mark Webber, and many others Pete recognised, but I had no idea….!
Disapointment for Ricciardo and Red Bull with the car stopping on the formation lap, and then doing the same after a late start from the pit. Lots of attrition, with just 13 finishers out of 20 starters, but great win for Vettel and Ferrari!
We had a ball, drinking our body weight in Mumm Cordon Rouge, and eating yummy stuff, watching from above Pit Lane and being above the podium for the presentation. Jumping atmosphere and brilliant end to the weekend of final Festival of Pete!
